SailNOW! LEARN-TO-SAIL PROGRAM

This is the signature CWB learn-to-sail program for adults and families. Students learn basic sailboat handling skills forming the foundation for a lifetime of sailing. 

Dates & Scheduling: 

Each SailNOW! session begins with a two-hour interactive Shore School session on the first Saturday, from 10:00am-12:00pm. Following the initial Shore School, students will have the flexibility to schedule five 2-hour on-the-water lessons at times that work best for their personal schedules. These 2-hour lesson blocks are available on Saturdays and Sundays typically from 10:00am-12:00pm and 12:30pm-2:30pm and on select weekdays and evenings depending on the season.

Please note that we ask all students to complete the course within one month from the start date. This allows for consistent progress and ensures you get the most out of your sailing experience.

Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email including more details with a link to complete final registration and our liability waiver. This must be completed prior to attending Shore School.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

• Cancellation more than 30 days in advance: refund less a $50 administrative fee. 

• Cancellation 30-15 days in advance: 50% refund of the course fee. 

• Cancellation 14 or fewer days in advance of the course: No refund.

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to: adultsailing@cwb.org.

Please Note: CWB reserves the right to cancel any course due to emergency or lack of enrollment. In such case, we will refund tuition in full. If traveling from out of area, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance in the event we must cancel this class.

SailNOW! Refresher Clinic: This refresher is for Sailors who have a current Livery Card at The Center for Wooden Boats but have not sailed in a while and wish to sail with an instructor's supervision before going out on their own again.
