Open all year, except for a 3-week Winter Holiday Closure (Dec. 8 - Jan. 1).

Now open every day from Memorial Day through Labor Day!

2025 Seasonal Hours:

Winter: January 3 - March 9 | Wednesday - Sunday 10:00am-4:00pm | Last Boat Out @ 2:30pm.

Spring: March 12 - May 25

Wednesday - Friday 11:00pm-7:00pm | Last Boat Out @ 5:30pm.
Saturday - Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm | Last Boat Out @ 4:30pm.

Summer: May 26 - August 31

Monday - Friday 11:00am-7:00pm | Last Boat Out @ 5:30pm.
Saturday - Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm | Last Boat Out @ 4:30pm.

Autumn: September 3 - October 26 | Wednesday - Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm | Last Boat Out @ 4:30pm.

Autumn/Winter: October 29 - December 7 | Wednesday - Sunday 10:00am-4:00pm | Last Boat Out @ 2:30pm.

Thanksgiving Closure: November 27

The Center for Wooden Boats at SLU is located inside Lake Union Park and consists of the Wagner Education Center, as well as a set of floating structures–The Boathouse and The Boatshop.

Admission to The Center for Wooden Boats is always free! You’re welcome to join us in the Wagner Education Center and on the docks to admire the boats during regular business hours.
